Thank you from Sturgeon Refinery

The mission to build North West Redwater (NWR) Sturgeon Refinery in Alberta as one of the world’s largest Carbon Capture, Use and Storage (CCUS) plants is nearly complete. Ian MacGregor (an honourary member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers who spoke at the 2016 IBB 33rd Convention) had a dream to build the plant to produce the lowest carbon diesel fuel in the world.

Hundreds of Boilermakers have been employed at the site and many thousands of hours have been provided for the construction trades. In the video below, Ian MacGregor thanks everyone who helped to make the NWR Sturgeon Refinery a success.
