Filling the Gap<\/em> - The Pressure Welder Program<\/h4>\n

This program is developed jointly by the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers\/National Training Trust Fund (IBB\/NTTF) and CWB Group and is funded through the Employment and Social Development Canada- Union Training and Innovation Program (UTIP).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

About the program<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This eight-week training program is fully funded by the Government of Canada to upskill apprentices and journeypersons across Canada. Participants will learn in demand, pressure welding techniques and will develop competencies to meet current and future industry needs. Those who complete this training program will have worked with highly skilled instructors to gain valuable and relevant skills that increase their employment opportunities. Financial assistance provided to eligible participants for the duration of the program, check with your local Training Coordinator for more info.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

      Daily hands-on training with highly qualified instructors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Earn up to six weld qualifications (based on provincial jurisdiction):<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • CWB four Position welding qualification (CSA W47.1)<\/li>\n
      • Initial Pressure Welding Provincial Qualification<\/li>\n
      • Carbon 2\u201d sch. 160-6G Stick or TIG<\/li>\n
      • Stainless - TIG root, Stick (fill and cap) - 2\u201d sch. 160-6G<\/li>\n
      • Inconel - 2\u201d sch. 160 TIG root, Stick fill and cap - 6G<\/li>\n
      • 9Chrome - 2\u201d or 4\u201d TIG all out 6G<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Obtain Industry required Safety Certifications including: <\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Fall Protection,<\/li>\n
        • Confined Space,<\/li>\n
        • Quantitative Fit Testing and<\/li>\n
        • Audiometric Testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
