Union ads commemorate National Day of Mourning April 28

The Boilermakers union has launched a radio advertising campaign to commemorate the April 28 National Day of Mourning for workers killed or injured on the job.

The radio ads, which ask Canadians to remember the victims of workplace tragedies, urge listeners to think about health and safety at work every day of the year.

"Health and safety is our paramount concern on every jobsite," commented IBB International Vice-President Joe Maloney. "We put our members' health and safety above all else."
