The 2016 Canadian Apprenticeship Forum was held from June 5th to 7th, in Vancouver, BC. National Training decided to host the Annual Canadian Boilermakers Training Coordinators meeting at the conclusion of the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF) conference to meet and discuss issues related to apprenticeship and training in the Boilermaker Construction industry.

Attending the meeting was National Director of Training, Grant Jacobs, Jonathan White and Jim Beauchamp from National Training, Gord Weel from Local 359, j'Amey Holroyd, Ron Jacobs and Shawn Ouellette from Local 146, Craig Beauchamp from Local 555, Chris Peddle from Local 128, Eugene Leblanc from Local 73 and Corina Woodford from Local 203.

A number of items were discussed at the full day meeting, giving the Training Coordinators an opportunity to share and speak candidly on issues related to apprenticeship and training in their jurisdictions, future training needs and plans moving forward.
