Boilermakers Supporting the Atikokan Youth Initiative

Boilermakers working at the AGS Biomass Conversion project recently raised funds on behalf of the Atikokan Youth Initiative. Atikokan is a small town in Northwestern Ontario with an approximate population of 3,000. The community's view is that the youth of Atikokan need a physical, non-business location where young people can gather, socialize and grow.

This is where the Boilermakers and other trades stepped in to do some fundraising for this worthwhile cause. Brother Curtis DeGagne of Local 555 played a big part in the fundraising. For more information, visit the following links:
