Thunder Bay Boilermakers

At a recent Christmas party in Thunder Bay, ON, members gathered for a celebration. Area Business Representative, Darrel Bray, reported that the retired members attending that evening had a combined service of 708 years! Some of these members were the first to service the Thunder Bay area! Brother Bill Ferguson, of Local 555 (pictured below on the far left), was the 2nd appointed Chief Steward/Business Rep for the area back in 1971, taking over for Karl Airaksinen of Local 128 (deceased 2000), who was the first.

The Thunder Bay office is unique in that it is jointly administered by Locals 128 & 555.
