IVP Joe Maloney gets re-elected as Chairman to the Canadian Executive Board of the Canadian Building Trades
The Canadian Building Trades is the national body representing all fourteen international construction unions in Canada. There is an executive board consisting of national Canadian directors who meet 3 - 4 times per year and discuss national issues that impact on the unionised construction industry in Canada. Every three years an election is held for the chairmanship of this executive board amongst the Canadian directors.
Joseph Maloney, International Vice President, Western Canada said "It is a great pleasure to be elected once again to this position. It is truly humbling to know that fellow construction industry trade unionists have the faith and support in myself and the Boilermaker organisation."
