Boilermakers Get the Job Done

Lodge 555 was recently recognized by Edmonton Exchanger for a job well done. Read the letter to Lodge 555 below.

On behalf of Edmonton Exchanger, I would like to thank the Local 555 membership, staff and leadership for their contribution to the very successful shutdown recently completed at the Husky, Lloydminster Upgrader. This was one of the largest shutdowns in Husky's history and produced one of the best safety records ever recorded on that site. To complement the safety performance, the shutdown was completed within Husky's schedule and budget and had virtually a leak free start up, all of which speak very positively for the building trades.
I also wish to thank the leadership of Local 555 for their professionalism in dealing with issues or concerns that we, as a contractor may have had, and thank the membership for supporting their elected leadership. The quality of the supervision and trades people provided by local 555 for this shutdown was second to none and it is evident that Local 555 is well on its way to becoming an industry leader.
Good things come when you have good leaders, Great things come when you support those leaders.
