Once again this Labour Day, the IBB will promote and thank Boilermakers for their work in building our country.

The union has bought 30-second advertisements on 28 radio stations across the country to celebrate the day that Canada has set aside to recognize the contributions of workers.

"Today, as we enjoy the last of the summer with our families and friends, the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers pays tribute to its members and to everyone who works for a living," the ads say.

"Every day on the job, your efforts help to make Canada a better place to work and live."
