The Boilermakers National Training Trust Fund (NTTF) is pleased to announce that our suite of Red Seal Upgrade Programs has been expanded with the addition of the Metal Fabricator Red Seal Upgrade. The NTTF has received extremely positive feedback from the membership on both of the online administered Boilermaker and Welder Red Seal Upgrade Programs. As one enthusiastic Training Coordinator stated, "The program is worth its weight in gold!"

All of the Red Seal Upgrade Programs are designed to provide a targeted and relevant course of study for apprentices or experienced tradesmen as they prepare to challenge the Interprovincial Red Seal Certification Exam in their respective trade. Each of the Upgrade Programs consists of a series of computer based trade knowledge assessments that identify specific areas where upgrading is required along with an individualized list of recommended resource materials based on the results of the assessments.

Members who are interested in pursuing a second trade certification or those who are experiencing difficulty in obtaining their initial Red Seal qualification are encouraged to take full advantage of these comprehensive and self-paced learning resources.
