Vice-President of Victoria Shipyard, Malcolm Barker, told people attending the christening "Since 1999, Victoria Shipyard has constructed 41 new vessels; because of the workforce this could not get done, thank you."

Lodge 191 Business Manager, Jim Fitzpatrick, said "Each day, Lodge 191 members proudly go to work to be safe and productive, to get the clients order on time and budget, the new seabus is another example of that."
