Client Acknowledges the Work of 146 Boilermakers
Lodge 146 Boilermakers received acknowledgement for their approach to safety and productivity during a shutdown this summer, from Mike Daley, Manager of Turnarounds and Small Projects for Syncrude. After completing a field tour of the Plant 16-1 Turnaround site, Mr. Daley saw first hand the advantage of having 146 Boilermakers on site.
The operations department at Syncrude recognized the efforts of Brother Mike Whan and his crew for helping them out by pulling in some of the schedule slippage they had from the shutdown steps.
Plus it was noted that Syncrude was equally pleased with the Edmonton Exchanger and Lodge 146's response of safety and productivity to the unplanned 37-1 F1 tube repairs in August.
Mike Daley, in his acknowledgement to the Business Manager of 146, Warren Fraleigh, wrote "I wanted to put this in writing to you, so your members know their efforts are appreciated and do not go unnoticed."
Joe Maloney, IVP of Western Canada, said "The Boilermakers focus is to get the job done right, the first time on or ahead of schedule by working safe, this is what we call the Boilermaker Advantage."
