On the Canadian Pacific Northwest sits the city of Kitimat BC and the LNG Canada export facility, the largest private investment in Canadian history. Earlier this month, Boilermaker Lodge 359 members (and members across Canada) working for Lorneville, successfully lifted a massive roof 56 meters above ground level using pressurized air. The circular roof is made of steel, weighs 1,540 tonnes, is 92 meters in diameter and now sits securely atop one of the world’s largest LNG storage tanks.
