The Boilermaker Trade, one of the original 13 trades that first achieved the Red Seal status almost 50 years ago, was recently identified by the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum as the trade that has the highest completion rate of the red seal trades in Canada. This achievement is due to the successful graduates of the Boilermaker Apprenticeship combined with the proven practice of the joint apprenticeship system, unique to unionized apprenticeship programs.
