Purple ribbons show support for essential workers

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused uncertainty, unease, grief and suffering. Now more than ever it is important to come together as a country to support each other. Lodge 146 has launched a charitable campaign thanking those risking their lives to help us and at the same time donating to the Edmonton Food Bank. Wearing a purple ribbon symbolizes that support and gratitude.

Boilermakers Support the Canadian Oil & Gas Industry

The federal government is reporting development of a program that will assist the Canadian oil & gas industry. As Boilermakers, we are the very builders and maintainers of the Canadian oil and gas infrastructure. That’s why it is imperative that we inform our Prime Minster that we support a program to get working Canadians back on the job in the industry.

That’s why it is imperative that we, as construction workers, inform our Prime Minister that we support a program to get working Canadians back on the job in the industry.
