Make the workplace a safe place to say “I’m not ok” and put mental health on the same footing as physical health. These were some of the main takeaway messages from the 2022 Boilermaker Eastern Tripartite Conference pre-conference workshop “Making Wellness a Priority.”

A total of eight workers, including four Boilermakers, two Millwrights and two Labourers, were injured at an explosion and fire at the refinery at Come-by-Chance, Newfoundland on September 2, 2022.

Boilermaker members from Local 128 are celebrating their 75th Anniversary. Parades were held in Toronto, Kingston, Hamilton, Port Elgin, and Sarnia.
