The Boilermaker Foundation Training program is an opportunity for individuals looking to get into the trade. The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) offers a 23-week program that includes basic theory and hands-on practice to enable students to become competent in basic Boilermaker construction tasks. IBB has announced the 2019 Scholarship Program with $12,000 going to Canadian Students. To be eligible, the applicant must be a son, daughter, legally adopted child or dependent of a member in good standing who is a high school senior who will be entering their first year of academic study.

Business Manager David Noel of Lodge 73 recognizes the importance of training for all members of the local lodge for personal growth and membership progress. During the week of December 3rd 2018 leadership training was set up by Lodge’s Training Coordinator Mario LeBlanc.
