On September 5th construction lodges from across Canada met to discuss issues affecting Boilermakers and our industries.

Congratulations to Brother Jordy Streng who was elected Business Manager/Secretary Treasurer of Lodge 359 on September 14th, 2018. Thank you to Brother Chris Paige who served as the Intern Business Manager for the last ten weeks.

As August began, three tankers with a combined capacity of almost two million barrels of oil prepared to pass through the Strait of Juan de Fuca to refineries in Washington State. Two of these ships were American, en route from Alaska. The third, the Nordtulip, flying the Portuguese flag, was delivering Russian oil out of Vladivostok.
