Petition to the Government of Canada

Members are encouraged to sign a petition requesting that the Government of Canada withdraw the proposed ban on crude oil tanker traffic off BC’s north coast and begin a new process whereby the interests of all affected, especially Indigenous and other communities in the region, are considered concurrently with a robust industry and national economic assessment, which recognizes the importance of ensuring Canada’s world-leading environmentally and socially responsible oil and gas industry can reach the growing demand of global markets.

2019 Boilermaker Calendar Photo Call

Planning for the 2019 Boilermaker Calendar is underway and we need photos of Boilermakers from across Canada. The photo call goes out to all 36 Local Lodges right across Canada. Photos to be sent in by August 15, 2018.

2018 Elections

All members of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers in Canada are advised that it is election time for all local lodges across the country.

The Riveter Arrives at Lodge 146

The Riveter, a 7-foot-tall aluminum statue, was installed during the first week of May 2018 in front of Lodge 146 Edmonton hall.
