The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and Wide Awake Films have teamed up to create three new films about Boilermakers in Canada.
Welding Rodeo Hosted by 146 Calgary
Boilermakers from Lodge 146 hosted a high school rodeo at the Calgary Training Centre on March 17, 2018. This was the fifth annual event for mostly high school students who want to weld for a career. There were four skill challenges including CWB, Tig welding, flame cutting and design.
The rodeo allows the young welders the opportunity to test their skills and at the same time learn about the industry they wish to enter. Learn more by clicking here.
