At Lodge 359’s Union Hall is the Joe Kiwior & Ivan Shook Training Centre in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. On July 18, 2023, the lodge hosted The Basic Steward program for members who want to serve their local lodge and learn more about the Union.
Added to the program is a history section exploring Trade, Union, Labour Movement and Natural Resources Development. The class also received a copy of Boilermakers in British Columbia and Boilermakers on the Prairies by Robert MacIntosh. The class was conducted by Richard MacIntosh, International Representative.
