Steward Training Report

Steward Training classes, led by International Representative Richard MacIntosh, have been taking place at various Locals across Canada. Assistant to the International President Cory Channon conducted the jurisdiction portion of the training, while the health & safety section was presented by the National Health & Safety Director Jason McInnis or Health & Safety Representative Blair Allin.

The Steward role is an important position of leadership within the Boilermaker organization. The Steward is the key person on jobsites to assist Members and Employers in understanding and complying with the collective agreement.

Members are encouraged to contact their local lodge if they wish to participate in an upcoming class.
