2020 started off with Steward training for Lodge 555 Members at both Union Halls & Training Centres in Winnipeg and Regina.

The week of January 15 in Edmonton marked what was dubbed the coldest week in two decades by local news media. With temperatures dipping close to minus 40 Celsius, the master rigger program was going full steam ahead.

With upcoming work in B.C., the need for foremen in all areas of Boilermaker work will increase.

In late 2019, TIW Steel Platework Inc. and Boilermakers from Lodges 128, 555, 73, 203 and 146 successfully completed a 60,000 man hour turnaround project at a major refinery in Nanticoke, Ontario.
